An all-day lesson allows you to make real progress without constantly checking the clock.
Your instructor can shape the day to meet your goals. They can adjust the route based on the conditions and explore terrain in St Christoph, St Anton, and the larger Ski Arlberg area. There is time to work on your technique, put new ideas into practice and enjoy some proper skiing along the way.
A full day doesn’t mean doing drills from first lift to last.
It means having time to ski, pause, adjust and go further when you’re ready.
Best for: Skiers who want sustained coaching, a day to explore the area, or time to work on several goals.
St Christoph is a small village with a big mountain right at its doorstep.
Located at about 1,800 meters on the Arlberg Pass, it is part of the connected St Anton–St Christoph–Stuben ski region. From here, the lift network leads to Galzig and St Anton in one direction, Stuben in the other, and further into the larger Ski Arlberg area.
This makes St Christoph a great starting point for a private lesson.
Newer skiers can build confidence on carefully chosen terrain without being rushed into tougher runs. Intermediates have space to develop better control across longer blue and red pistes. Stronger skiers can focus on performance, steeper terrain, and the Arlberg’s famous off-piste skiing.
However, more terrain doesn’t automatically mean a better lesson.
The key is knowing where to go, when to go there, and which slope will help you improve.
Not every route is suitable for every skier. A nervous skier doesn’t need the biggest mountain; they need the right spot to make their next turn. An improving skier doesn’t always need a more challenging piste; they may just need more time on terrain that helps a new movement feel natural.
Your instructor will select the terrain around you, consider the conditions, and focus on what you want to achieve.
St Christoph also has a rich skiing history. The Ski Club Arlberg was founded here in 1901, and the village is home to the Ski Austria Academy, where ski instructors and trainers are trained.
Skiing isn’t just an added attraction here; it is the reason the village exists.
Your ski lessons in St Christoph will be taught by an instructor from New Generation Ski School St Anton.
Our ski school and regular meeting point are located in St Anton. We don’t have a separate ski school in St Christoph. Instead, our St Anton instructors travel to St Christoph to teach guests who are staying there.
St Christoph is part of the connected St Anton–St Christoph–Stuben ski area. Our instructors know its pistes, lifts, and terrain very well.
When you book a lesson in St Christoph, you get the same personal service, careful coaching, and New Generation standards as in St Anton. The only difference is that your starting point is convenient for where you’re staying.
Local knowledge is important. It helps your instructor find suitable terrain, respond to the conditions, and make the best use of your time.
But knowing the mountain is just the beginning.
Knowing how to teach is even more important.
Our instructors take the time to understand how you ski, how you learn, and what might be holding you back. They simplify complicated ideas. They provide feedback you can feel, rather than just a list of instructions to remember.
They may know every way down the mountain.
The lesson is still about finding the right way forward for you.
